The initial inspection and quote was a reasonable experience. The person who answered the phone was charismatic and helpful. Once the job was scheduled I was given a different contact person. He was quick to respond, by text or phone. Also they sent us a little care package with sweets, a nice surprise. They brought a dumpster out early, and left it at the wrong house. They came to move it because the vendor made a mistake. The day we were scheduled we were facing a weather delay, and until I got home from work, I didn’t have clear communication as to whether they had started the job or were pushing it to the next day. When I got home around 6, they were already well into the job. Despite checking with someone to see if I could walk past, I was almost hit by thrown debris, which may be related to a later concern with my awnings. Besides that interaction the workers were unobtrusive. They worked past 9pm, and left without saying anything. The next morning I still hadn’t had any follow up conversation and was not sure whether they stopped for the night or were done. I looked myself and I wasn’t certain, the roof seemed done otherwise, and did look good. However I found the gutters were not installed. I also found dents in my awnings but couldn’t verify the source. After I initiated a call, my contact in the company confirmed they were done with the roof and said the gutters would be coming quickly. It took 2 business days and another reminder but they were installed. After the job, I didn’t receive any communication from the team for 11 days, where I received an email with information about my warranty and another with a link for a review. I attempted to ask for documentation for my records - I wanted a summary of job completion and a receipt. I realized later this was a no-reply email, meaning they did not ignore my request. Either way I did not receive any direct confirmation after the job was completed. After posting my review here, the owner reached out personally offering the paperwork (while he didn’t provide it before, I had only requested it by the email to a read only address). He listened earnestly to my suggestions and concerns - most of which were just about post-job communication. I feel pretty confident that he cares about customer experience and will take in my suggestions and consider them for future changes. While I felt in the dark at the end of the job, the care the leadership team shows does give me the confidence in their desire for excellence and creating a good experience.

I wanted to make sure the roof didn't leak before I posted anything, and it was a while before we had a heavy rain. The roof did not leak. After it rained, a tree branch fell on the roof.
